MTN Data Plans in 2025
With the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) approving a 50% tariff increase for telecommunications operators, below is the list of all the data plans available on MTN at the moment:
MTN Daily Data Plans
All MTN daily data plans are valid for a day (that is, 24 hours after activation)
- 75MB for ₦75: Activate by dialing *312*114#.
- 1GB for ₦350: Activate by dialing *312*155#.
- 2GB for ₦750: Activate by dialing *312*154#. This particular data plan is valid for 2 days.
MTN Weekly Data Plans
All data plans in this category are valid for 7 days only.
- 5GB for ₦1,500: Activate by dialing *312*143#.
MTN Monthly Data Plans
MTN data plans in this category expires 30 days after activation.
- 1.8GB for ₦1,500: Activate by dialing *312*106#.
- 4.25GB: Activate by dialing *312*131#.
- 5.5GB for ₦3,500: Activate by dialing *312*110#.
- 8GB for ₦4,500: Activate by dialing *312*147#.
- 11GB for ₦5,000: Activate by dialing *312*148#.
- 20GB for ₦7,500: Activate by dialing *312*116#.
- 75GB for ₦20,000: Activate by dialing *312*150#.

MTN Two-Month Data Plans
The MTN 2-Months data plans expires after 60 days. The available data plan in this category, and most common is the 200GB for ₦50,000, which can be activated by dialing *312*138#.
MTN Three-Month Data Plans
480GB for ₦120,000: this is valid for 90 days, and can be activated by dialing *312*133#.
Aside from data plans that have been outlined above, MTN users can as well subscribe to Social Media Bundles. As the name implies, these social media bundles can only be used to browse social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter (Now known as ‘X’) and Instagram.
MTN offers daily, weekly, and monthly social media bundles. For example, a daily WhatsApp bundle costs ₦25 for 25MB. To activate, dial *312# and follow the prompts to select your preferred social media bundle.
There are also Night Browsing Plans for users. Currently, there’s only the 500MB for ₦50 option on MTN, but a few months ago, users could subscribe to the 250MB for ₦25. The MTN night plan is valid from 11 PM to 6 AM. To activate, dial *406# and follow the prompts.
