Personal Experience Using GLO in Different Places in Nigeria
Generally , it seems GLO is better in the southern parts of Nigeria and they need some service improvements in the northern parts of Nigeria. From my personal experience, there was a time I went to the village for wedding and there was no other network aside GLO in that village.
At the time it was the only option, but I was shocked at the speed of the browsing when I eventually started browsing with GLO. I enjoyed the browsing so much that I almost overstayed my welcome, lol.
Other times I was in the the Nigerian capital city, Abuja and GLO browsing was not so bad but simply ok. Tabs were loading despite my residence with close to the hills. By and large, where GLO is good it is often very good and where GLO isn’t good it can be extremely poor so your location matters a lot like with other networks.
How To Enjoy GLO Browsing in 2025
I have written in a recent publication that GLO browsing is fast and enjoyable for at least 18 hours daily and the remaining hours is with a little hanging and slow motions here and there. Although, 18hours is impressive but they need to do better.
Because of growing concerns and for the sakes of daily emergencies, it is good to do your main monthly subscription with GLO and keep your second sim aside for minor daily or weekly subscriptions.
This is so you are not stranded at anytime you want to be online or anytime you must be online especially when your daily bread is dependent on being online, lol.
Summary of My GLO browsing Experience
I am enjoying using GLO for browsing. Infact, as I am currently writing, GLO data is what I am using to make this publication, lol. By and large maximize the opportunity of being able to buy GLO Data for considerate prices you never can tell when they decide to increase their prices to face the growing competition.
But for all I know, GLO is benefiting from their low prices as thousands of subscribers are porting to GLO on daily basis.
